The Ukrainian security service SBU announced that it carried out a drone attack on a strategic oil pumping station in the Vladimir region, Russia, essential for supplying Moscow and the main airports. Following the attack, a large fire broke out, affecting an area of approximately 800 square meters.
SBU stated that the facility supplies fuel to the oil depots around the Russian capital, including Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports. The governor of the Vladimir region, Alexander Avdeyev, confirmed the fire, mentioning that it has been extinguished, but did not specify the connection to the oil industry, referring only to an infrastructure facility.
