A Russian soldier opened fire on his comrades and on some civilians in Sevastopol, Crimea, causing the death of four people and injuring another four.
The local governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced on Telegram that the soldier initially attacked a comrade, killing one man and injuring another, before turning to civilians, where he killed two men aged 59 and 71, as well as a 64-year-old woman, according to EFE, reported by Agerpres.
The authorities have apprehended the attacker, and investigators are working to establish the circumstances of the incident.
Mikhail Razvozhayev called for "calm" and emphasized the importance of official information, without revealing the motives of the attacker.
