The train, which was heading to Kiev, was attacked at the station in Shostka, causing a fire in one of the carriages. The regional governor reported the intervention of rescue teams, and President Zelensky emphasized that the attack targeted civilians and called for concrete actions from Ukraine's allies. Russian airstrikes on railway infrastructure have significantly increased in the last two months.
