On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Russia attacked Ukraine with dozens of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles, focusing on the country's energy infrastructure. The attacks resulted in the death of one person and the injury of five others in the Kiev region, where damage was reported in five districts. In Odesa, a nighttime attack caused fires at the energy infrastructure, which were later extinguished by firefighters. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiha condemned these attacks, emphasizing that Russia continues to undermine diplomacy through terrorist actions. Since the beginning of the invasion in February 2022, attacks on the Ukrainian energy system have become frequent, aiming to weaken Ukraine's defense capabilities and severely affecting the civilian population, especially during winter.
