A five-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district was severely damaged, causing a fire and the destruction of the building. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the attack, stating that two missiles were launched at the residential area. Initially, 13 people were reported injured, of which six were transported to the hospital, including one woman in serious condition.
Local authorities, including the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Siniehubov, stated that rescue operations are underway, with emergency teams mobilized to search for any potential victims trapped under the rubble. The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting that one person is in critical condition.
