The group has published a report highlighting the suffering caused to diaspora communities by UK institutions holding ancestral remains. The report contains 14 recommendations, including banning the sale of human remains and amending the Human Tissue Act 2004 to include the remains of people who died more than 100 years ago. The British Museum holds over 6,000 human remains.
