Poland, a member of the European Union and a fervent supporter of Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion, intends to invest in the development of a drone defense system at its eastern border. Estimates indicate a total cost of approximately two billion euros for this project.

The Polish Minister of Defense announced that negotiations with an international consortium for the implementation of this system are already completed, and the contract is expected to be signed by the end of January. The new system will include armaments from local and international sources, and Poland is collaborating with various companies, including the Turkish group Anduril for electronic protection. Additionally, Poland has shown increased interest in Ukrainian technologies in the field of drones, considering the recent Russian attacks and air incursions on its territory.
