Media company Paramount has agreed to pay $16 million dollars in a lawsuit filed by Donald Trump, who claimed CBS deceptively edited an interview with Kamala Harris. The money will go to Trump's presidential library, not including an apology from Paramount. Trump initially demanded $10 billion in damages, accusing CBS of manipulating information to favor the Democratic Party. The settlement comes as Trump continues to challenge the media and threaten legal action against various outlets.
