The Intercept and Freedom of the Press Foundation have filed a lawsuit in New York, challenging the sale of priority access to posts by President Donald Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social.

These groups denounce a system they consider "corrupt and unconstitutional," noting that subscribers to this service can obtain essential information a few seconds before the general public, paying between $60,000 and $100,000 per month. This practice could influence financial markets, and media groups emphasize that Trump profits financially from providing government information.

Truth Social has already attracted over 10 clients, most of whom are high-frequency trading firms.

Criticism of this service includes the privatization of access to official information.

Although Trump Media & Technology Group reported an increase in revenue, the company recorded a significant net loss, largely due to unsuccessful investments.
