A Financial Times analysis reveals that Donald Trump bought shares worth up to 1.4 billion dollars last year, thus consolidating his personal holdings in large companies in the US.
Recent financial statements show that Trump earned external revenues of at least 2.2 billion dollars, coming from various sources, including crypto and real estate businesses. In 2025, Trump reported over 22,000 stock transactions, compared to only 13 transactions reported by his predecessor, Joe Biden, in four years. Although the exact amounts cannot be determined precisely, his sales are estimated between 138 and 433 million dollars.
The purchases were made through eight investment accounts, most of which track the stock market.
A spokesperson for the Trump Organization stated that the holdings are managed independently by financial institutions, without direct involvement from Trump or his family. These purchases provide Trump with significant exposure to companies affected by public policies.
