Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary, stated that the fire that occurred last week at the Dunai refinery in Százhalombatta, operated by MOL, could have been caused by an "external attack". Although the investigation is ongoing, Orbán emphasized that it is still unknown whether the incident was an accident or a malfunction. This statement contradicts the position of the MOL company, which stated that there is no evidence of sabotage.

Orbán also mentioned the comments of the Polish foreign minister, who suggested the destruction of the Druzhba pipeline, highlighting the tensions in the region. Additionally, Orbán reiterated Hungary's dependence on Russian oil, arguing that alternatives are limited and that energy prices could explode without these imports. The Prime Minister urged MOL not to raise prices for consumers following the fire.
