Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated that the Fidesz party is 'beyond recovery' during a parliamentary session on Monday. He criticized the speech of former Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Baile Tusnad, considering it a 'farce' that brings no useful ideas, only political confusion.

Magyar rhetorically asked whether it is acceptable for a politician to wish for an out-of-control inflation in Hungary, suggesting that Orban explains his failure and seeks a way to return to power through the suffering of Hungarians. He also condemned the actions of Fidesz deputies, calling them 'shameful.'

In contrast, Viktor Orban criticized the current leadership, citing abuses of power, and stated that the goal of Fidesz is to organize a 'broad coalition of freedom,' rather than returning to government. The Hungarian leader reiterated themes such as protecting national identity and opposition to immigration, while also emphasizing the importance of focusing on economic issues.
