NATO allies of Estonia shot down a reconnaissance drone near the Reedo military base, which belongs to the 2nd Infantry Brigade of Estonia. The incident occurred on October 17, when, around 4:30 PM, the allies identified several drones in the area. Lieutenant Liis Vaksmann stated that one of the drones was shot down with a counter-drone weapon, in collaboration with the 2nd Infantry Brigade.
Although the Estonian defense forces, together with the police and border service, tried to locate the downed drone, it was not found.
