A 52-year-old man was seriously injured after a Russian drone tracked him and exploded in front of him, in an agricultural market in Kherson. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras and was published by the National Police of Ukraine, which is investigating the attack as a possible war crime.
The victim, a civilian from the Mykolaiv region, was at the market to conduct commercial activities and had no ties to the military.
As a result of the explosion, the man suffered injuries caused by the blast wave and a concussion, being transported to the hospital for medical care. Ukrainian authorities emphasize that drone attacks on civilians have become frequent in Kherson, with 18 civilians injured and two dead following the attacks on August 3.
The police continue to document these incidents as part of the war tactics of Russian forces.
