CNN has reported that Donald Trump has reportedly threatened to bomb Moscow if Russia attacks Ukraine, recording his statements in a private meeting. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he could not confirm or deny the reports, citing the proliferation of fake news. Trump also said he had conveyed a similar warning to Xi Jinping about Taiwan. In recent months, Trump has become more critical of Putin, while the Kremlin has remained calm in the face of such criticism.
