The Houthis declared that Prime Minister Ahmad Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several ministers were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the capital Sanaa. These actions are part of a broader conflict, in which the Houthis, supported by Iran, control large parts of Yemen. The Houthis have also recently launched rocket attacks against Israel, in a show of solidarity with the Palestinians, and Israel has retaliated with bombings on sites in Yemen.
