Hillary Clinton has said she would nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he could persuade Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

In a podcast, Hillary Clinton said that if Donald Trump managed to broker a peace deal with Vladimir Putin, she would nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize. Speculation of a meeting between Trump and Putin has grown, with some skeptical of the Kremlin's intentions. Clinton compared the situation to the historic 1985 meeting between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev, which marked the beginning of the end of the Cold War.
