On the night from Monday to Tuesday, Kiev was shaken by powerful explosions, following an air alert issued across Ukraine, warning of a missile threat. Ukrainian air forces announced on Telegram that there are risks of ballistic missile attacks, Shahed drones, and cruise missiles. Air defense was activated, managing to shoot down several missiles over the capital, and officials urged the population to take shelter. The mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, reported disruptions in water and electricity supply. On the same day, a Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv resulted in four deaths and 17 injuries. In the context of these frequent attacks, Ukrainian, American, and European officials met to discuss peace plans, but President Zelensky emphasized that more progress is needed to achieve real peace.
