On the night from Monday to Tuesday, Kiev was the target of intense missile and drone attacks, directly aiming at civilian infrastructure and residential areas. The city's military administration reported three deaths and five people hospitalized with severe burns. The explosions were accompanied by air raid alerts and caused significant damage in the surrounding localities, including in Boryspil, where a business was attacked, resulting in one fatality and one person seriously injured. An apartment block in Boryspil was also damaged, injuring eight residents, including a child.
Tensions are rising regarding Ukrainian air security, due to a shortage of anti-aircraft ammunition, and the army is facing a chronic lack of Patriot defensive missiles. This situation allows Russian missiles to hit targets with increasing frequency, exposing urban areas to major risks.
