Nicolas Richard, CEO of ENGIE Romania, highlighted the importance of digitalization in the energy system, which enables innovative offers like those in France. He emphasized the need for an information campaign to promote the benefits of an efficient energy market. ENGIE proposes solutions to cope with the volatility of prices, such as energy storage and digital management systems. After the removal of the price cap in the Romanian market, ENGIE has observed an increase in customers, but believes that more information is needed regarding changing suppliers.
