Following the US air strikes on nuclear sites in Iran, leaders in Cuba, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela reacted vehemently. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel denounced the bombings as a "dangerous escalation" and a violation of the UN Charter. Gabriel Boric, the Chilean president, described the action as illegal, saying that the power did not justify breaking international rules. Mexico emphasized the importance of dialogue to defuse tensions, while Venezuela strongly condemned the attack, calling for an immediate end to hostilities.
