Coca-Cola factory in Ukraine hit by Russian drones

A Coca-Cola factory near the city of Brovary, east of Kyiv, was damaged in a Russian drone attack. The incident occurred as Russia continues its drone and missile attacks on cities and infrastructure in Ukraine.

Images broadcast after the strike show firefighters responding in the factory area, while a dense cloud of smoke rises above the facilities and nearby grounds. The extent of the damage has not yet been determined, and the assessment is continuing in cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities.

No factory employees were injured. Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, said that the staff is safe and that the company’s priority is protecting people and clarifying the situation.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the factory was hit by a Shahed drone and claimed that the attack represented a message directed at the United States. The Ukrainian leader stated that Russia knew the facility belonged to an American company. No casualties have been reported so far, and the authorities are continuing checks regarding the damage and the circumstances of the attack.
