China, Iran and Russia are to hold joint naval exercises near the Iranian port of Chabahar.

The exercises, dubbed "Security Ties 2025," aim to "deepen mutual military trust and pragmatic cooperation between the militaries of the participating countries," according to the Chinese Defense Ministry. The maneuvers will include 'joint search and rescue', 'combat against maritime targets' and 'damage control'.
