Bucharest ranks second in the ranking of European cities that can be visited for less than 100 euros a day in September, surpassed only by Tirana.

According to an analysis conducted by the British travel agency Thomas Cook, which evaluated 51 cities, Bucharest ranks second in the list of the most accessible European cities. Tirana, the capital of Albania, is the cheapest destination, with an average cost of 59 euros per day.

The ranking took into account expenses for accommodation in three-star hotels, meals, drinks, public transport, and access to tourist attractions, excluding flight tickets. In Bucharest, the average cost for one night of accommodation is approximately 32 euros, and a one-day stay amounts to about 66 euros, including transport and meals.

Other cities in the top 10 include Antalya, Muğla, and Istanbul from Turkey, Warsaw and Krakow from Poland, Vilnius from Lithuania, Frankfurt from Germany, and Lyon from France. This analysis highlights the affordable vacation opportunities in Europe at the beginning of autumn.
