Young people aged 18 have the opportunity to discover Europe for free through the DiscoverEU program, which offers 40,000 free train tickets. The European Commission opened registrations on April 8, and they will close on April 22. Participants must be born between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008, and must complete a questionnaire about the European Union. Those selected will receive a travel voucher, which will allow them to travel for a maximum of one month, between July 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027. They will also receive a discount card for transport, culture, and other services. Young people with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds will have access to additional support. This initiative aims to encourage the mobility of young people and to provide them with the opportunity to explore the cultural diversity of Europe.
