A day before the start of the school year, the Minister of Education, Daniel David, emphasized the importance of school for students and called on teachers to honor their moral duty towards them, despite the protests within the system. David acknowledged the difficulties generated by fiscal-budgetary measures but insisted that grievances should not block education. He made a call for collaboration to build a quality educational system.
