The National Company for Electric Energy Transport Transelectrica SA implemented an investment program of 691 million lei in 2025, an increase compared to previous years. For 2026, Transelectrica proposes an investment program of 914 million lei, which represents a significant increase of over 30%. The expenses in 2025 exceeded the initial plan, reflecting efficient execution. Investments were focused on its own projects, most of which are continuations from previous years. Transelectrica obtained European funding for projects aimed at modernizing the electrical network, including through the Modernization Fund and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Important projects include the modernization of electrical substations, the development of interconnections with neighboring countries, and the installation of SMART GRID solutions. These investments are essential for the integration of renewable energy and for increasing the energy security of Romania, contributing to the economic development of the country. Transelectrica aims to become a key player in the transformation of the national energy infrastructure.
