Electromontaj, a company part of Grup EM and a leader in Romania’s energy infrastructure market, is expanding its teams to support more than 200 projects underway in the country and on international markets such as Cyprus, the Netherlands and Poland. The development strategy includes recruitment for execution, coordination and project management positions.
The company has four projects of national importance in its portfolio and recently completed the installation of the first two STATCOM systems in Romania’s Transmission Electricity Grid, at the Sibiu Sud and Bradu substations. Its completed projects also include connecting the Vifor photovoltaic plant, with a capacity of 460 MW, as well as Electromontaj’s first project in Finland.
Complex projects are being prepared for the coming period, including the modernization of the Vidraru hydroelectric power plant, the transformation of the Alba Iulia substation into Romania’s first fully digital substation and the construction of the 400 kV Gădălin-Suceava overhead power line.
Electromontaj has more than 1,500 employees and invests in professional training through its own PRO ELM school, authorized by the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education. For more than 14 years, it has organized courses for electricians. The company is thus consolidating its position as an employer in the energy sector and preparing its teams for future projects.
