Rețele Electrice România has completed the modernization of the Filaret electrical substation with investments of nearly 79 million lei

The electricity distribution operator Rețele Electrice România, part of the PPC group, has completed the modernization works at the 110/20/10 kV Filaret electrical substation in Sector 4 of Bucharest. The investment aims to increase the safety and quality of electricity supply for customers in the southern area of the capital.

The Filaret substation is an important facility for electricity distribution in this part of Bucharest. Modernizing the infrastructure contributes to improving the operation of the network and reducing the risks associated with potential interruptions or fluctuations in supply.

The works were completed by Rețele Electrice România, an operator that manages electricity distribution networks in several regions of the country. The company did not specify the value of the investment or the exact duration of the project, but announced that the outcome is intended to increase service reliability for consumers in the southern part of the capital.

Completing the modernization of the substation marks another step in the process of upgrading Bucharest’s electricity distribution infrastructure.
