Foreign Affairs Minister Oana Țoiu underlined the importance of the Visa Waiver program for Romania, noting that the country is in a better position compared to a few months ago. Although she did not specify a timeline for the lifting of visas for the United States, she said that work is being intensively carried out at the institutional level, involving the Ministry of Interior and the Embassy. Țoiu emphasized that integration into the Visa Waiver is essential not only for Romania, but also for the growth of tourism in the US.
