Rezolv Energy has secured project financing of up to €367 million to build the 292.5 MW Dunărea East wind farm in Constanța County. The project is scheduled to become operational in early 2029.

The financing is provided by a consortium of six financial institutions and is backed by the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark. The lenders include Société Générale, Erste Group Bank, Raiffeisen Bank International and Raiffeisen Bank Romania, Mizuho Bank Europe, Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The EBRD’s participation benefits from an InvestEU guarantee.

Dunărea East has a Contract for Difference for 211 MW, awarded as part of Romania’s second CfD auction, held in 2025. For part of the power production, the company also has a corporate power purchase agreement with retailer Ahold Delhaize.

This is the fourth major project financing secured by Rezolv Energy in Romania. The transactions for the VIFOR and Dama wind farms, together with the Dunărea East financing, total up to €1.55 billion. Once the project is completed, the company’s installed wind power capacity in Romania will exceed 760 MW.
