The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced that public hospitals, ambulance services, forensic medicine institutes, blood transfusion centers, and the National Transplant Agency are exempt from the 10% cut in personnel expenses decided by the Government. This measure aims to protect the stability of the healthcare system and the safety of patients, avoiding a possible destabilization of a field already under significant pressure. Rogobete emphasized that, although performance criteria remain a priority, reforms will continue, and discussions with unions and professionals in the field will begin next week. The reorganization of the ministry and the efficiency measures implemented allow for the maintenance of these essential structures without affecting the objectives of reducing expenses. The minister thanked those who supported the arguments for protecting public health.
