NBR data show that in June 2025, household deposits in lei increased by 0.5% to 250.755 billion lei, while deposits in foreign currency increased by 0.3% to 138.748 billion lei. M3 money supply decreased by 0.6% from May, but increased by 8.9% from a year earlier. Non-government credit grew by 1.2%, while government credit fell by 2.4% from the previous month. Deposits by non-government resident customers also fell 0.8% from May, but were up 7.5% from a year earlier.
