Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare underlines the importance of tackling the situation of inactive firms in the fight against tax evasion. With over 460,000 inactive firms, 300,000 of which have not been in business for more than 5 years, Nazare proposes that they be obliged to declare their activity within a month or be dissolved. It would also introduce strict criteria for inactivity, ensuring a fair and competitive business environment.
