The aerospace group Airbus announced a downward revision of its delivery target for 2025, setting a goal of approximately 790 commercial aircraft, due to quality issues with suppliers of fuselage panels for the A320 model. Although deliveries have been affected, CEO Guillaume Faury mentioned that the financial targets for the current year remain intact, with an estimated profit of around seven billion euros. Airbus delivered 766 aircraft in 2024, maintaining its position as a market leader, despite the difficulties faced by rival Boeing. Quality issues have been identified in 628 aircraft, including 168 already in operation, and inspections are ongoing. Faury confirmed that deliveries were also affected in November, and further details will be communicated in the coming days.
