The American manufacturer Boeing has maintained its estimate for global demand for commercial airplanes over the next two decades, anticipating deliveries of 43,625 aircraft between 2026 and 2045, despite the limited effects of the war with Iran.

Of the total, 33,545 will be single-aisle aircraft, while the rest will include wide-body, cargo, and regional planes. In contrast, rival Airbus has reduced its delivery forecast by 1% due to trade tensions. Boeing expects a 2.3% increase in passenger air traffic this year, accelerating to 6-7% by 2027. In the long term, the company estimates an average annual growth of 4% in passenger traffic and a deficit of nearly 2,000 aircraft in the industry by 2026.
