Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at the B9 summit in Bucharest that Ukraine is ready to collaborate with Romania in the context of repeated incidents in which Russian drones have reached Romanian territory. Responding to the measures that Romania should take, Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's willingness to share the expertise accumulated during the war, including by sending specialists to collaborate with Romanian authorities.

He mentioned that Ukraine recently signed a similar agreement with Lithuania, aimed at technical and operational support in defense against drone attacks. Zelensky stated that the necessary documents for the partnership with Romania could be prepared quickly, highlighting the importance of assistance in the face of external threats. This statement comes against the backdrop of the repeated discovery of fragments of Russian drones on Romanian territory, especially in the counties bordering Ukraine, following attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure.
