The police in Constanța detained a 22-year-old man for 24 hours, being suspected of causing a fire in the locality of Poarta Albă on December 30. The fire destroyed approximately 3000 bales of straw, causing damage estimated at over 90,000 lei.

The incident was reported around 3:10 AM, and the police officers from the Medgidia Municipal Police began investigations to identify the perpetrator. The young man was later identified as responsible for the destruction of property by arson and is now being investigated for his actions.
