USR calls on the governing coalition for the swift establishment of the election date in Bucharest, in the context of the absence of a legitimate mayor.

Representatives of USR, through the leader of the senators Ștefan Pălărie, are requesting the urgent organization of elections for the Bucharest City Hall, considering that 136 days have passed without a legitimate mayor. Pălărie emphasizes that the Government must respect the law and decide this week on the organization of local elections. However, PSD conditions the elections on a single candidate from the Coalition, an idea that USR considers to be a failure.
