Two Romanians, aged 23 and 32, were arrested in Sedriano, near Milan, after they robbed a man, stealing his phone, watch, and car keys. The victim alerted the police, and the carabinieri quickly located the stolen vehicle using GPS.
At the moment they were intercepted by the police, the two Romanians attacked the officers and managed to seize the service weapon of one of them, firing without injuring anyone. The 23-year-old was immediately caught, while his accomplice tried to escape into a shopping center, where he was later apprehended. Both men were taken to San Vittore prison and were already known to the authorities for criminal records.
