Trains on the Bucharest North - Henri Coandă Airport route will not operate between May 26 and 29 due to maintenance work.

CFR SA has announced that railway traffic on the route Bucharest North - Pajura - Mogoșoaia - Henri Coandă Airport T1 will be temporarily closed between May 26 and 29, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, for maintenance and repair works. These works include biannual inspections of the switch electromecanic systems, track switches, tensioning and aluminum-thermal welds, mechanized drilling, and replacement of defective rails.

Trains 7919, 7921, 7923, 7925, 7927, 7929, 7922, 7924, 7926, 7928, 7930 and 7932 will be canceled during this period. Outside the closure period, train traffic will continue as normal. To ensure the connection with Henri Coandă International Airport, the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest - Ilfov will reintroduce bus line 780, which will operate between Basarab Station and the airport, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
