Traffic on the Friendship Bridge Giurgiu–Ruse will be temporarily suspended from November 4, 09:00, until November 5, 09:00, due to planned concreting and installation works on the Bulgarian side.

Until November 4, at 21:00, traffic will be completely closed for all types of vehicles. Between November 4, 21:00 – November 5, 09:00, traffic will only be allowed for vehicles with a maximum weight of up to 3.5 tons and for passenger transport. Starting from November 5, at 09:00, traffic will resume for all categories of vehicles.

To avoid congestion, authorities recommend using alternative routes such as: for Dolj – the crossing points Calafat or Bechet; for Teleorman – Zimnicea or Turnu Măgurele; for Călărași – Călărași Customs; for Constanța – the points Vama Veche, Ostrov, Negru Vodă, Lipnița or Dobromir.
