On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, traffic on the A2 highway was temporarily closed between kilometers 160 and 192, in the direction towards Constanța, due to animal remains from slaughter scattered on the roadway. The "Dobrogea" Emergency Situations Inspectorate intervened after being notified of the presence of sheep carcasses. Traffic was diverted to DN 3 starting at 11:15 PM. The Constanța County Police signaled the area and restricted traffic to ensure the safety of participants. The driver of the vehicle transporting animal by-products was identified, and the investigation was taken over by environmental police to establish the circumstances of the transport. It is estimated that traffic will resume normally after 07:30.
