In Timișoara, two new bridges will be built over the Bega, with a financing of more than 130 million lei from European funds. The Solventul Bridge will connect Gării Street to Dâmbovița Boulevard and will complete the Ring IV, the first new bridge built after 1989. The ''Iuliu Maniu'' bridge in the area of the former cigarette factory will also be demolished and completely rebuilt. The mayor's proposal has been submitted to the City Council for approval.
