Salvamont Prahova has announced the temporary closure of the tourist trails in Bucegi, Baiului, and Ciucaș due to unfavorable weather, with snowfall and strong winds.

A new layer of snow is expected to accumulate between 50–80 cm at high altitudes, and the wind could blow the snow away and create drifts larger than 1 meter. Salvamont Prahova warns that the trails are not recommended for travel in the high mountain area in the coming days.
