The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announced that, due to severe weather conditions, a new section of DN 67C (Transalpina) is being closed. The affected section is located between Obârșia Lotrului (km 59+800) and Curpăt (km 79+200) and is closed due to blizzards, avalanches, rockfalls, landslides, and ice, which pose a danger to the safety of road users.

Additionally, CNAIR mentions that the section between Rânca and Obârșia Lotrului has already been closed to traffic since September 30. This measure is taken to ensure road safety in extreme weather conditions.
