The ANM has issued a yellow warning for strong winds, with gusts that can reach up to 120 km/h, valid for several regions of the country, including mountainous areas, from October 23 to 24.

Specialists from the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) have issued yellow warnings for strong winds, starting from Thursday evening, October 23, until October 24.

The affected regions include Banat, Crișana, the Western Carpathians, and most of the Southern Carpathians, where gusts will exceed 120 km/h at high altitudes.

In Banat and Crișana, the wind will have temporary intensifications with speeds of 50-70 km/h, while in mountainous areas, speeds will reach 70-90 km/h, with gusts of 90-110 km/h at over 1700 m.

On Friday, between 10:00 and 21:00, the yellow warning will also affect Maramureș, Transylvania, and the west and south of Oltenia, with similar intensifications.

ANM warns that the wind will also have intensifications in the rest of the country, with speeds of 40-50 km/h.
