On November 1st, the mountain rescuers from the Brașov County Mountain Rescue Service intervened in the Bucegi Massif, in the area of Hornul Mălăiești, to rescue two tourists who were stranded. They had previously been warned by rescuers not to continue their ascent due to difficult conditions and the lack of appropriate equipment. Ignoring these recommendations, the tourists reached an exposed area where they became stranded. A first response team was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation, and a second team from the Râșnov Mountain Rescue was mobilized to support the intervention if necessary. The mountain rescuers emphasize the importance of following their advice and that of the authorities to avoid risks in the mountain area.
