The Air Serbia flight JU102 Belgrade - Bucharest on November 5, 2026, was targeted by a bomb alert, being the second incident involving an aircraft bound for Romania's capital, reports Digi24 and Boarding Pass.
After landing in Bucharest, the Serbian airline's aircraft was stopped on a taxiway located several hundred meters from the parking positions, and following the checks, the authorities concluded that the alarm was false.
We recall that earlier in the day, a first bomb alert was reported on board a Wizz Air aircraft that departed from Milan and landed on Thursday, at 11:09, at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest.
At least 21 commercial flights were identified as having been targeted by bomb threats in Europe between November 2 and 5, 2026.
The Russian radical group "Fighters for the Male State" claimed responsibility for the bomb alerts involving two flights to Rome.
