Rapid intervention by the police in Botoșani to save a man who threatened that he would cut his throat with a piece of glass.

In the morning of the day, the police in Botoșani intervened urgently to save a 27-year-old man from Dorohoi, who had barricaded himself in his home and was threatening to cut his throat with a piece of glass. The call to 112 was made by a young man who reported the man's extreme intentions, caused by family misunderstandings.

At the scene, the police found the man alone, with glass fragments in his mouth, and immediately began negotiations. After about an hour of tense discussions, the police negotiator managed to convince him to abandon the extreme act. The man was transported to a medical facility for evaluation of his health condition, and the intervention was deemed a success by the authorities.
